The Mandalay Region Government Office has announced that the New Year celebration and festivities for 2024 will take place in Mandalay.
Like citizens of other countries wait who until midnight to welcome the New Year, Mandalay will joyously celebrate the occasion with performances by famous artistes, a countdown, and a fireworks display.
A coordination meeting was held at the meeting hall of the Mandalay Region Government Office on the afternoon of 24 December to plan and organize the 2024 New Year celebration in Mandalay township.
The meeting was attended by Mandalay Region Chief Minister U Myo Aung, ministers, and relevant officials. — ASH/MKKS
