Three Myanmar nationals repatriated from Iraq

The Myanmar Embassy in Cairo made negotiations with Iraqi authorities to repatriate its citizens stranded in Baghdad, Iraq.
On 1 February, three Myanmar citizens were repatriated on a Baghdad-Dubai flight under the government plan. They arrived in Myanmar by Bangkok-Yangon flight after the Dubai-Bangkok flight yesterday evening.
They were welcomed back by officials of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Ministry of Social Welfare, Relief and Resettlement, Ministry of Home Affairs, Myanmar Police Force and Arakan National Network at Yangon International Airport.
The three returnees were Ma Honey Tun, Ma Myat Aye San (aka) Wai Wai and Ma Than Nwe Htay. — MNA/KTZH
