State Administration Council Vice-Chairman Deputy Prime Minister Vice-Senior General Soe Win inspected preparations for successfully holding the 77th Anniversary Union Day yesterday.
First, the Vice-Senior General, who is also the Chairman of the Central Committee on Organizing 77th Anniversary of Union Day and relevant officials met with members of ethnic dance troupes from regions and states, who will perform at the ceremony in Nay Pyi Taw Sports Village.
The Vice-Senior General and party also looked into the preparations for the dinner event at Nay Pyi Taw City Square in the same evening.
Then, the Vice-Senior General watched the full-dressed rehearsal of ethnic dance troupes for entertainment at the open-air theatre during the dinner.
Present were Union ministers, the Nay Pyi Taw Council chairman and the Nay Pyi Taw Command Commander, central committee members Union Ministers, deputy ministers who are chairpersons of respective subcommittees, and other relevant officials. — MNA/KTZH
