On 14 February, the Thai Embassy to Myanmar announced that due to the high volume of visa applications, only 400 applicants would be processed daily.
Individuals wishing to apply for visas must queue to receive token numbers starting at 8:30 am. Token numbers will be issued after embassy officials have examined the applicant’s passport and confirmed its validity. Each token number is valid for one person only. Any attempt to forge or misuse a token number will result in the visa application being rejected, and the applicant will be blacklisted.
Applicants can obtain the necessary information by scanning the embassy’s QR code. Incomplete applications or lost or damaged tokens will not be accepted for visa processing. — TWA/MKKS
