8th 47-member State Sangha Maha Nayaka Committee holds 2nd-day session of sixteenth plenary meeting

The second-day session of the sixteenth plenary meeting of the Eighth 47-member State Sangha Maha Nayaka Committee was held at the Wizaya Mingala Dhamma Thabin of Thiri Mingala Kaba Aye Hill in Yangon yesterday.
Present at the occasion were members of the State Sangha Maha Nayaka Committee led by Presiding Nayaka Sayadaw of Thanlyin Min Kyaung Pahtamapyan Monastery Agga Maha Pandita Agga Maha Saddhamma Jotikadhaja Dr Bhaddanta Candima Bhivamsa, Union Minister for Religious Affairs and Culture U Tin Oo Lwin and other relevant officials.
Secretary of State Sangha Maha Nayaka Committee Sayadaw Agga Maha Pandita Agga Maha Saddhamma Jotikadhaja Dr Bhaddanta Candima Bhivamsa presided over the meeting. Joint Secretary Sayadaw Agga Maha Pandita Bhaddanta Siha Nada acted as the master of ceremonies.
At the meeting, the Sayadaws discussed Vinicchaya, religious affairs and educational matters and made decisions.
The donors offered alms for the whole day to the State Sangha Maha Nayaka Committee member Sayadaws, who attended the ceremony yesterday. — MNA/KTZH
