MoE Union Minister inspects 2024 matric exam

Union Education Minister Dr Nyunt Pe views round the examination room yesterday.

Union Minister for Education Dr Nyunt Pe, together with Permanent Secretary Dr Soe Win and relevant officials, visited No 6 BEHS in Zabuthiri Township, Nay Pyi Taw, yesterday. They inspected students sitting for the first-day Matriculation Examination in Myanmar Subject.
The Union minister instructed relevant officials to take care of students who take the matriculation exam with peace of mind and to abide by the disciplines in holding the Grade 12 exam.
He then went to No 7 BEHS and Nay Pyi Taw General Hospital (1000-bed) and inspected the exam centres.
Similarly, Deputy Minister for Education Dr Moe Zaw Tun and relevant officials visited No 3 BEHS, No 20 BEHS and Yezin BEHS to inspect the exam centres.
On the first day of the matriculation examination, students took the Myanmar language Exam at 830 internal examination centres throughout Myanmar and 11 foreign examination centres. A total of 146,523 students registered to take the exam at 841 examination centres, and 128,801 students took the exam.
A total of 8,676 students registered to take the exam at 47 exam centres in Nay Pyi Taw, and 8,428 students took the exam. — MNA/KTZH
