Union Minister for Energy U Ko Ko Lwin met Minister in Charge of Integration and Macroeconomics of the Eurasian Economic Commission Mr Sergei Glazev and his delegation in Nay Pyi Taw yesterday.
They discussed various topics, including enhancing energy collaboration between Myanmar and member countries of the Eurasian Economic Commission, strategically constructing an oil refinery in Myanmar and distributing and selling petroleum products, importing Liquefied Natural Gas (LNG) and exploring potential markets for selling LNG domestically and to regional countries, research plans for increasing productivity of petroleum and natural gas in potential blocks, and investment plans of Russian companies in the energy sector. — MNA/ TMT
