Myanmar Embassy in Japan invites researchers for 2024 fellowship

Myanmar Embassy in Japan said in a statement on 19 March that JSPS (Japan Society for the Promotion of Science) has invited applications for International Fellowship for Researcher in Japan 2024.
Available programmes include Postdoctoral Fellowships for Research in Japan Standard Programme for Postdoctoral (12-24 months), Invitational Fellowships for Research in Japan Long-Term for Mid-career to Professor (2-10 months), Short-Term for Mid-career to Professor (14-60 days) and Bridge Fellowship Programme for JSPS Alumni members (14 to 30 days).
Depending on the programme, eligible criteria vary – a doctorate degree holder within the past six years or a prospective doctorate degree holder before completing the Fellowship for Standard Programme for Postdoctoral (12-24 months), and Professors, Associate Professors, or Assistant Professor in Japan, or Researchers for a term equivalent to 6 years and above before completing a doctorate degree for Long-Term for Mid-career to Professor (2-10 months) and Short-Term for Mid-career to Professor (14-60 days), it stated.
The JSPS-Bridge Fellowship Programme is open to JSPS alumni members and researchers currently working in a research department. A round-trip air ticket, overseas travel insurance, monthly maintenance allowance and research support allowance will be provided to successful candidates, it said. — MT/ZN/ED
