A Myanmar citizen, Daw Khine Khine Swe, who travelled to Singapore with the “Gandawin” travel agency, reportedly lost US$3,048 and 789 Singapore dollars, a KBZ card, and two AYA bank cards in 2015.
The lost items were discovered by the Lost and Found department of the Singapore Police on 29 December 2021 and subsequently transferred to the Myanmar Embassy to Singapore. Despite several attempts, the embassy was unable to contact the owner, Daw Khine Khine Swe. Therefore, the lost cash and items were secured at the Myanmar Embassy.
After establishing contact with Daw Khine Khine Swe, Charge d’affaires ad interim U Zaw Zaw Soe and officials from the Myanmar Embassy handed over the cash and property to the owner yesterday. — MNA/TRKM
