The Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MoFA) has reported that the Permanent Representative of Myanmar to ASEAN co-chaired the 25th meeting of the ASEAN-China Cooperation Committee held in Jakarta, Indonesia.
The meeting took place on 2 April at the ASEAN Secretariat in Jakarta, Indonesia. U Aung Myo Myint, Permanent Representative of Myanmar to ASEAN, co-chaired the meeting alongside Hou Yanqi, Chinese Ambassador to ASEAN.
During the meeting, discussions were held on the progress of relations between ASEAN and China, priority sectors to be implemented this year, progress under the Initiative for ASEAN Integration (IAI) Work Plan IV, projects under implementation with China’s cooperation, and developments related to the ASEAN Smart Cities Network. — ASH/TMT
