K-pop artistes prepare for Thingyan festival cultural exchange programme

The first group of K-pop artistes participating in the Thingyan festival as part of a cultural exchange programme conducted a rehearsal for the festival’s opening ceremony yesterday morning.
Later in the afternoon, they visited the Myanma Radio and Television in Nay Pyi Taw-Tatkon, where they rehearsed for the Friday Night Live Show in the rehearsal room and auditorium.
The first group comprises 24 artistes, including actor Baek Eun Hee, renowned for roles in various series and movies, as well as K-pop singers Rejen and Henny, the 7 Kids Dream Group, Astel Dance Group, and DJ-Saemi. Additionally, two more groups of K-pop artistes are reportedly expected to arrive in Yangon on 11 and 14 April respectively. —MNA/TRKM
