Motor cars are lining up at a petrol station in Yangon.

The Fuel Import, Storage and Distribution Supervisory Committee is supplying fuel from terminals in Yangon Thilawa Port to filling stations in Yangon with the use of fuel bowsers to ensure that there is no shortage of fuel at petrol stations. However, officials found that, despite having ample fuel in storage, three filling stations failed to sell it to vehicles, leading authorities to take action against them under the provisions of the Petroleum and Petroleum Products Law. — MNA/TH
