Administrative officials killed in some townships

The insurgents intentionally killed the village/ward administrators on 18 May.
The six terrorists arrived at the house of U Moe Zaw Myint, ward administrator who lives in Pan Chaing Village of Kyaukpadaung Township of Mandalay Region, on 18 May night. They were not satisfied with the activities of U Moe Zaw Myint as he helped the security members for school reopening cases on 16 May. They stabbed him and ran away. Then, he was taken to the military hospital for medical treatment.
Similarly, about 20 insurgents committed violent attacks on Shwe Pauk Pin village administrator U Soe Nyunt in Myaung Township of Magway Region with two handmade bombs and a knife while he was at his house together with his family members. U Soe Nyunt and his daughter died on the spot, and his wife, son and grandson were taken to Myinmu hospital, and the grandson died on the way to the hospital.
Moreover, on 19 May, U Kyaw Zin Min, administrator of No (4) ward of Payathonezu in Kya-in-Seikkyi Township of Kayin State, was shot dead by the terrorists in front of his house.
The security forces will investigate to arrest the murderers who killed the ward/village administrators under the law. —MNA
