Admiral Moe Aung meets Tatmadaw members, families of Thanlyin Station

Commander-in-Chief (Navy) Admiral Moe Aung is cordially greeting Tatmadaw members and families at the Thanlyin Station yesterday.

Commander-in-Chief (Navy) Admiral Moe Aung met officers, other ranks and families of Thanlyin Station at the station hall yesterday morning.
At the meeting, the Admiral explained the implementation of a five-point road map by the State Administration Council for the emergence of the genuine, disciplined and firm democracy the people aspire, participation of the Tatmadaw in the nation-building tasks, the readiness of the war vessels of the Tatmadaw (Navy) to assist whenever natural disasters hit, conveyance of Myanmar citizens by war vessel of the Tatmadaw (Navy) from Malaysia and India to Myanmar as part of humanitarian aid, joint patrol and sea rescue works with neighbouring countries along the sea boundary line for ensuring the security of Myanmar seas, ocean military exercises of the Tatmadaw (Navy) for upgrading itself to keep abreast of international navies, and continuous undertakings for capacity enhancement in four sectors of the Tatmadaw (Navy).
1217 72The Admiral presented fiction and non-fiction books, sports gear and foodstuffs to the commanders from Thanlyin station. The Admiral’s wife presented cash assistance to the Thanlyin Station Maternal and Child Welfare Association through the wife of Thanlyin Station commander.
After the meeting, the Admiral proceeded to No 1 Naval Flotilla, where he gave instructions to officers and other ranks and presented personal goods to them. — MNA
