AGD, AYA Banks to sell US$300-500 each for outbound travellers

Asia Green Development Bank (AGD) and Ayeyarwady Bank (AYA) announced on 5 June that those who will go abroad for various reasons such as work, medical treatment, or scholarship will be allowed to purchase from US$300 to US$500 for small expenses at the banks.
The programme was introduced with the approval of the Ministry of Labour, and it has been announced that each Myanmar national can purchase between US$300 and US$500 at the foreign exchange counters in AGD Bank (Sule Branch) in Kyauktada Township, Yangon, and in AYA Bank branches such as No 26 Branch in Kyauktada Township, Yangon, No 8 Parami Branch, No 83 River View Branch, No 30 Branch in 2nd Street, Mandalay, and No 1 Branch in Nay Pyi Taw. — TWA/CT
