Air Thanlwin to extend Yangon-Mawlamyine flight due to increasing number of passengers

The number of passengers who take Yangon-Mawlamyine and Mawlamyine-Yangon flight has risen up more, therefore Air Thanlwin will extend it on Tuesday and Friday, said a spokesperson from the airline.

Air Thanlwin runs Yangon-Mawlamyine and Mawlamyine-Yangon flight daily on a regular basis and at present, the number of passengers has mounted, that is why the airline has extended the flight schedule at 9:30am and 11:30 am on Tuesday and Friday.

“Due to increased air travel demand, we have added each extra flight for both Mawlamyine and Yangon on Tuesday and Friday. Extended flight time has not been fixed, because we will provide it when airplane is convenient, so it will run at 9:30am and 11:30am. It is 9:30am on Tuesday. The number of passengers is on the rise,” he said.

On Monday, Tuesday and Saturday, it departs from Yangon at 7:30am and arrives in Mawlamyine at 8:05am and departs from Mawlamyine at 8:20am and arrives in Yangon at 8:55am.

On Wednesday, Thursday and Friday, it departs from Yangon at 10:00am and arrives in Mawlamyine at 10:35am and departs from Mawlamyine at 10:50am and arrives in Yangon at 11:25am.

Recently, ticket booking for Yangon-Mawlamyine and Mawlamyine-Yangon flights has been on the rise. Besides, Yangon-Mawlamyine and Mawlamyine-Yangon train schedules have also been extended from 13 May.
