Cyclone Mocha over the central Bay of Bengal and adjoining the southeast Bay of Bengal is expected to move near Sittway, which is between Cox’s Bazar, Bangladesh, and Kyaukpyu, Myanmar, on 14 May 2023. The following areas have been declared as red alert areas with a high risk of disaster depending on the conditions of being hit and affected by the disaster.
