The armed terrorists brutally killed the township administrative officials, government employees and innocent civilians in some townships of regions and states.
On 13 August, U Han Thar, chairman of National Democratic Front (NDF), was killed at Nyein Chan Yay electronic equipment shop in Mingalar Ward of Loikaw Township in Kayah State. According to the inspection, four men riding two motorcycles arrived there and two of them stabbed him to death. The victim died on the spot.
Similarly, another victim Maung Htein got gunshot wound in Ywathit Village of Ye Township of Mon State on the same day. According to the investigation, one man riding motorcycle shot him while he was working in front of his house, and he ran away. The victim was taken to Lamaing public hospital.
The security forces conduct investigation to arrest the suspects for legal action.—MNA
