Bago Region Chief Minister inspects agriculture, farming and production in Waw, DaikU

Chief Minister of Bago Region U Myo Swe Win, accompanied by ministers of the regional government and department officials, made an inspection tour of concrete paving work on the Waw-Kyalaha-UMoeSu Road and the Nyaungkhashay security checkpoint in Waw Township on 22 April.
Afterwards, the region chief minister met officials from the township administration body and general administration department in DaikU Township. He coordinated the necessary things regarding agriculture, livestock and production work.
Next, the chief minister arrived at the People’s Hospital in DaikU Township and met health personnel and provided cash assistance to health staff.
Then, the region chief minister visited the three-crop farm of U Soe, a farmer from Doetan Village, DaikU Township. The farm planted monsoon paddy, green peas and summer paddy.
Next, he instructed farmers to identify hectare plots, re-dig irrigation canals and educate peer farmers to grow three crops per year. The chief minister provided 20 fertilizer bags to the farmers. — MNA
