Brig-Gen Tin Swe inspects cleaning of debris, rehabilitation progress in Maungtaw

Brig-Gen Tin Swe, who arrived in Maungtaw for close supervision of the rehabilitation tasks of the villages that were destroyed by the storm viewed the clearing of debris at schools damaged by the storm in Maungtaw, Rakhine State, yesterday evening.
Brig-Gen Tin Swe and officials looked into participation of Tatmadaw members and firefighters in cleaning damaged classrooms at the Basic Education High School in Indin Village, Maungtaw Township, which were destroyed by the storm. He presented CI sheets for roofing the school and monastery.
They continued to a temporary school in Myoyu Village and Kyaukpandu Village Basic Education Middle School Branch and viewed the cleaning activities in the damaged school buildings.
