Buddha image conveyed to Maravijaya Chamber, Naungdawgyi Buddha image to Aggadipati Withongama ordination hall of the Sasana Beikman

A ceremony to convey a Buddha Image to Maravijaya Chamber took place in conjunction with conveyance of Naungdawgyi Buddha Image to Aggadipati Withongama ordination hall of the Sasana Beikman in Maravijaya Buddha Park in Dekkhinathiri Township of Nay Pyi Taw yesterday morning, with attendance of Chairman of the State Administration Council Prime Minister Senior General Min Aung Hlaing.
Conveyance of the Buddha image was launched to Maravijaya Chamber donated by Senior General Min Aung Hlaing and wife Daw Kyu Kyu Hla and family.
The Senior General pressed the button to convey the Buddha image onto the bejeweled throne.

One more ceremony to convey Naungdawgyi Buddha image to Aggadipati Withongama ordination hall of the Sasana Beikman followed.
The Senior General conveyed the image onto the bejewelled throne by pressing the button.
After the process, the Senior General and congregation paid homage to the Buddha image by sprinkling Paritta scented water.
Later, the Senior General and wife performed the rituals of golden and silver showers to mark the successful completion of the ceremony.
Also present at the ceremony were SAC Vice-Chairman Deputy Prime Minister Vice-Senior General Soe Win, Chief of the General Staff (Army, Navy and Air) General Maung Maung Aye and wife, and dignitaries.—MNA/TTA
