Deputy Governor of CBM Daw Than Than Swe attends SEACEN Virtual-level Seminar and Meeting of Deputy Governors of Financial Stability and Supervision.

Deputy Governor of the Central Bank of Myanmar Daw Than Than Swe attended the SEACEN Virtual-level Seminar and Meeting of Deputy Governors of Financial Stability and Supervision, held on 18 August through video conferencing.
The meeting was also joined by deputy governors of SEACEN member central banks/monetary authorities, subject speakers on financial stability and banking supervision, risks, innovations and climate risks, Center Executive Director and Directors of SEACEN Centre and high-level representatives.
The seminar discussed the Financial Technology (Fintech) and Big Tech, data management and challenges encountered, banking risks related to COVID-19 crisis, risks of climate change, digital banking operation of central banks and recent cyber-attacks.
At the meeting, the participants discussed courses related to financial stability and supervision supervised by SEACEN, research projects, current priorities and trainings and research projects related to financial stability and supervision to be held in 2022.—MNA
