Checking ground household data inserted into e-ID software completed by 86.7 per cent

Checking the ground household population data which have been inserted into the e-ID software have completed by 86.7 per cent, said Union Minister for Immigration and Population U Myint Kyaing at the coordination meeting 1/2023 of Central Committee on Supervising Ground Census Enumeration held on 3 February.
The Union Minister said that it regarding the ground census enumeration, more than 13.5 million of household population has been inserted into e-ID software across the nation but more than 11.7 million households were surveyed based on the current household pattern and more than 2.8 million households without household registration collected. Hence, the work completion accounted for 86.7 per cent till today.
The Union Minister continued to say that there remain to collect more than 1.7 million households in the nation. Now, relevant township departments are carrying out filling the necessary data which are different from the ground data through e-ID software.
Depending on the data and accounts, the population of eligible voters must be sent to the Union Election Commission in March 2023, he added.—TWA/KZW
