A Tianjin air cargo plane carrying humanitarian assistance from the People’s Republic of China for Mocha victims arrived at the Yangon International Airport yesterday morning.
Chairman of the Yangon Region Natural Disaster Management Committee Yangon Region Chief Minister U Soe Thein and ministers, Chinese Ambassador Mr Chen Hai and officials attended the ceremony to hand over the relief aid held at the airport.
Included in relief supplies that arrived yesterday were 10,000 mosquito nets and 10,000 blankets worth $47,500. — MNA/MKKS
