The Myanmar delegation led by Commander-in-Chief (Air) General Tun Aung that arrived in Laos for the 19th ASEAN Air Chiefs Conference – 19th AACC met with Laos Air Chief Brig-Gen Khamlek Sengphachanh, Brig-Gen Dato Seri Pahlawan Mohd Sharif bin Dato Paduka Haji Ibrahim of Brunei and Air Chief Marshal Alongkorn Vannarot of Thailand separately on 3 November. During the meeting, they discussed closer cooperation between air forces of their nations for humanitarian assistance natural disaster preventive measures and combatting terrorism.
On 4 November, Myanmar delegates attended the 19th AACC and the ASEAN Air Chiefs discussed the topic of “Together for Peace and Stability of ASEAN”.
Then, Laos Air Chief transferred the ASEAN Air Chief Conference Chairmanship for the 20th AACC 2023 to Myanmar. — MNA
