Coordination meeting held for Diamond Jubilee Independence Day celebration

The Diamond Jubilee Independence Day commemoration event coordination meeting was held yesterday morning at the Film Promotion Branch of the Department of Information and Public Relations in Bahan Township, Yangon Region.
First of all, Deputy Minister for Information U Ye Tint, Chairman of Working Committee for Diamond Jubilee Independence Day Variety Show Organizing, speaking at coordination meeting of the Committee in Yangon on 25 September, said that the variety show scheduling and entertainment subcommittee earmarked the programmes. Only when the programmes have been approved, subcommittees will carry on their assignments. After that, he added that preparations and rehearsing works will be carried out, the meeting needed to discuss the schedules. Officials from respective strata needed to coordinate the schedules in unison.
Officials and those from relevant associations participated in the discussions to stage the variety show with the coordination of the deputy minister.—MNA
