The Coordination Meeting on signing MoUs of Quick Impact Projects to be implemented with the grant assistance of the Government of the Republic of India, led by U Than Aung Kyaw, Deputy Minister for Investment and Foreign Economic Relations, was held in Nay Pyi Taw yesterday.

At the meeting, Deputy Minister discussed the signing process of MoUs for quick implementation of the five QIP projects such as Construction of Bailey Bridge, Construction of Town Hall, Electrification of Rural Villages by Small Wind Energy, Departmental E-Library Project and Water Supply Using Solar Power in Drought affected Villages of Central Dry Zone. The senior officials from respective ministries also discussed on signing MoUs for their specific projects.

The meeting was attended by the senior officials from Ministry of Border Affairs, Ministry of Planning, Finance and Industry, Ministry of Natural Resource and Environmental Conservation, Ministry of Education, Union Attorney- General Office and Foreign Economic Relations Department.—MNA
