Covishield vaccinated to diplomats, embassy staff, families

The MoHS staff provide COVID vaccination to the ambassadors and embassy staff in Yangon on 5 April 2021.

The Ministry of Health and Sports provided COVID-19 vaccination to the ambassadors of Yangon-based India, Brunei Darussalam, Democratic People’s Republic of Korea, Nepal, the Philippines and Qatar, embassy staff and families, totalling 73, at Myanmar Convention Centre on Mindama Road in Yangon yesterday.
Covishield vaccination bought through public finance was injected into diplomats and families free of charge under the leadership of the Ministry of Health and Sports.
Arrangements are being made to vaccinate embassy staff from 19 Myanmar-based embassies and staff from UN agencies.
They will be provided with double vaccination. Records on completion certificate of COVID-19 vaccination will be handed over systematically. —MNA
