The 2022 Diamond Jubilee Union Day State Flag hoisting and saluting ceremony were held at Yangon People’s Square yesterday at 5:30 am.
The ceremony was attended by Colonel Win Tint, Minister for Yangon Region Security and Border Affairs, on behalf of the Chief Minister of Yangon Region, regional government ministers, the officials from departments, ethnic representatives and guests.
Initially, Colonel Win Tint, Minister for Yangon Region Security and Border Affairs saluted the Union Flag together with attendees.
Then, Colonel Win Tint, Minister for Yangon Region Security and Border Affairs, read the Union Day message sent by State Administration Council Chairman Prime Minister Senior General Min Aung Hlaing after which the ceremony came to a close. — Aung Myint (IPRD)/GNLM
