Dinner hosted in honour of 78th Anniversary of Armed Forces Day

State Administration Council Chairman Commander-in-Chief of Defence Services Senior General Thadoe Maha Thray Sithu Thadoe Thiri Thudhamma Min Aung Hlaing and wife Daw Kyu Kyu Hla hosted the reception and dinner in honour of the 78th Anniversary of Armed Forces Day 2023 at the square of Zeyathiri Beikman in Nay Pyi Taw yesterday evening.
At the start of the dinner, fireworks in commemoration of the 78th Anniversary of Armed Forces Day were launched from the Armed Forces Day Parade Ground and Bayintnaung Villa.
Also present at the reception and dinner were SAC Vice-Chairman Deputy Commander-in-Chief of Defence Services Commander-in-Chief (Army) Vice-Senior General Soe Win and wife Daw Than Than Nwe, Chief of the General Staff (Army, Navy and Air) General Maung Maung Aye and wife, Commander-in-Chief (Navy) Admiral Moe Aung and wife, Commander-in-Chief (Air) General Tun Aung and wife, the SAC Secretary and wife, the SAC Joint Secretary and wife, SAC members and wives, Union level officials and wives, dignitaries, representatives from various organizations and guests.
Before and during the reception and dinner, the artistes from the Myawady Entertainment Troupe of the Directorate of Public Relations and Psychological Warfare under the Office of the Commander-in-Chief (Army) and other artistes performed song entertainment.
After the dinner, the Senior General and party cordially greeted the attendees, and fireworks were launched in commemoration of the successful completion.
The Senior General, his wife and attendees watched dances and songs presented by male and female military personnel under the Directorate of Public Relations and Psychological Warfare to the accompaniment of the Myawady Band in Thabin Hall of Zeyathiri Beikman.
After the entertainment, the Senior General and his wife presented the flower baskets to those entertainers and cordially greeted the attendees. — MNA/TTA
