According to the Myanmar Federation of Persons with Disabilities (MFPWDs), the disabled who have encountered disasters can contact and ask for help to get jobs from the federation in respective regions and states.
Disabled persons who are ready to work for appropriate jobs have been employed at the three ministries in the Nay Pyi Taw Council Area.
With the MFPWDs arrangement, six disabled individuals are employed at the office of the Department of Social Welfare (Nay Pyi Taw), at the office of the Ministry of Electric Power, at the office of the Rehabilitation Department, and at the Department of Small and Medium-Scale Enterprises (Magway Region) respectively.
They were reportedly employed at the Ministry of Education in the Nay Pyi Taw Council Area in the previous years. Moreover, the federation aims to eradicate discrimination against disabled persons.
