The individual people of Myanmar consume about 4.5 visses of cooking oil per year. In order to ensure the sufficiency of cooking oil at home, efforts should be made for thriving edible oil crop plantations in the respective areas so as to increase the per-acre yield.

As such, relevant ministries must raise the health awareness of the national people for reducing edible oil consumption. Business people need to take care of importing safe cooking oils. Systematic supervision must be performed to check cooking oil quality, whether it is refined or not for public consumption.
