The types of competitions that will be included in the Sepak Takraw sport of the SEA Games have been confirmed, according to the SEA Games Organizing Committee.
There will be both men’s and women’s events in the Sepak Takraw game with six single’s and team-wise events.
A total of eight women’s events were planned previously, but host Viet Nam reduced the men’s and women’s doubles’ event.
Visitor teams will be allowed to compete in only two men’s events and two women’s events.
The host countries of the SEA Games usually include most of their favourite sports, except for the essential sports, and do not include any sporting events if they are weak.
The Viet Nam SEA Games, which was postponed due to the COVID-19 pandemic, is scheduled to resume from 12 to 23 May 2022.
