Ex.Union Minister for Religious Affairs and Culture charged with corruption

The Anti-Corruption Commission (ACC) has formed an investigation team into a complaint to take action against former Union Minister for Religious Affairs and Culture Thura U Aung Ko for accepting money and property in connection with the awarding of titles to individuals by the state during his tenure as Union Minister.

According to a statement from the Anti-Corruption Commission, a case has been filed against Thura U Aung Ko under Section 55 of the Anti-Corruption Law since the corruption has been investigated.
Similarly, some people who served at the state and national levels have also been found to be corrupt, and action is being taken in accordance with the Anti-Corruption Law.—MNA
