Expired vehicles and motorbikes to extend registration without inspections until 31 December

Road Transport Administration Department under the Ministry of Transport and Communications announced on 19 September that expired vehicle and motorbike registrations can extend without inspections until 31 December.
After the Department of Road Transport Administration is temporarily closed due to the Covid-19 pandemic, the department is now re-opening the renewal of vehicle and motorbike registrations.
Aim to reduce crowding and to be speedy work completion, only passenger buses have to be inspected although other vehicles and motorbikes can extend their registrations without inspections by only having checks against records.
The Road Transport Administration Department allowed the inspection-free renewal of vehicle and motorbike registrations except for passenger buses since March 2021. — TWA/GNLM
