The Fisheries Department under the Ministry of Agriculture, Livestock and Irrigation conducted a ceremony to free fish species into Bago-Sittoung Canal in Kandaw Ward of Waw Township yesterday.
The Bago District Fisheries Department Head U Zaw Myint Naing, township administrator U Win Maw, township administration body member Major Myo Win Aung, Township Fisheries Department head Daw Khin Myo Naing and other relevant officials added a total of 630,000 newborn fishes — 350,000 Labeo rohita and 280,000 Barbus fish. — Aung Myat Linn (IPRD)/GNLM
