First Myanmar-Russia Joint Anti-Terrorist Committee meeting continues for second day

The first Myanmar-Russia Joint Anti-Terrorist Committee meeting continued for the second day at Hilton Hotel in Nay Pyi Taw yesterday morning.
Present at the meeting were Chief of Staff (Army) Lt-Gen Moe Myint Tun of the Myanmar Tatmadaw and senior military officers from the Office of the Commander-in-Chief, Chief of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Russian Federation and First Deputy Commander-in-Chief of Russian Ground Forces Colonel-General Kim Alexey Rostislavovich and officials.
They frankly exchanged views on cooperation in Myanmar-Russia anti-terrorist measures, signed the approval for the minute of the meeting and exchanged emblems.
The meeting ended with concluding remarks of the Chief of Staff (Army) of the Office of the Commander-in-Chief (Army) and the Chief of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation and the First Deputy Commander-in-Chief of Russian Ground Forces.
The first-day session of the meeting took place at the same venue on the morning of 30 November.
Two Joint Chairs of the committee approved the meeting agenda and posed for documentary photos together with the attendees. They also cordially exchanged views on cooperation in anti-terrorist measures between Myanmar and Russia. — MNA
