Five special criminal appeals sentenced, three special appeals heard in court

A total of five special criminal appeals were sentenced and three special appeals were heard at Office No. (1), Supreme Court of the Union yesterday morning.
Special appeals tribunal was led by Chief Justice of the Union U Htun Htun Oo and Judges of the Supreme Court of the Union U Myo Maung, U Kyi Thein, U Tin Hone, and Daw Khin Mary.
A total of five special criminal appeals: 5/2020 (Mandalay), 10/2020 (Mon), 1/2021 (Yangon), 2/2021 (Yangon) and 3/2021 (Mandalay) were sentenced.
In addition, three special appeals No. 4/2020 (Ayeyawady), 5/2020 (Ayeyawady) and 7/2020 (Yangon) were heard in line with the prevention and control guidelines of the COVID-19 pandemic. — MNA
