Fixtures released for 2022 Asian Cup Women’s Championship

The final group matches of the 2022 Asian Cup Women’s Championship, in which Myanmar national women’s team participating, have now been announced.
The AFC confirmed the group matches days after the group stage draw ceremony on 28 October.
In the final round, Myanmar will face defending champions Japan, South Korea and Viet Nam in the Group C.
Meanwhile Group A consists of host India, China, China Taipei and Iran and three ASEAN teams: Thailand the Philippines and Indonesia are included in the Group B together with Australia.
According to the match schedule, Myanmar team will play against defending champions Japan in the opening match of the group stage on 21 January.
Next, Myanmar will face South Korea on 24 January and Viet Nam on 27 January.
The tournament will be hosted by India from 20 January to 6 February, 2022. A total of eight teams will advance to the quarter-finals.
The Myanmar team has stopped training after the previous qualifiers and is scheduled to resume training in the second week of November for the next stage.—Ko Nyi Lay/GNLM
