Former Myanmar National Football Team player and legendary player Kyi Lin has resumed his career as a player in a surprising move after years away from the public eye.

Kyi Lin, now 32, retired from his football player life at late 2020 football season due to injury and disappeared from the public view.

Now he has fully recovered from his injury. After news came out that he would take a step again on the grass by signing a contract with 2023 Myanmar National League 2 Champion Yangon Galaxy FC, he actually made a contract on 15 February to play for Rakhine United FC.

Another former Myanmar International, Kyaw Ko Ko, has also signed recently for Rakhine United FC, giving the audience another chance to see the duo of Kyaw Ko Ko and Kyi Lin in Myanmar National League.

Since 2007, Kyi Lin has played for U-17 and U-23 national teams, and most recently for Yangon United FC in Myanmar National League.

Kyi Lin made 42 appearances for Myanmar national team and scored 7 goals.
