Gala Dinner held to mark meeting of MoEP, MoST and Russian State Atomic Energy Corporation “ROSATOM” for cooperation project

According to the Myanmar-Russia joint project implementation plan, the Ministry of Electric Power, the Ministry of Science and Technology and Russian State Atomic Energy Corporation “ROSATOM” will cooperate with each other on the project.
A dinner ceremony to mark the meeting and discussion of the project was held at the Ministry of Electric Power in Nay Pyi Taw yesterday evening.
Union Minister for Information U Maung Maung Ohn, Union Minister for Electric Power U Thaung Han, Union Minister for Energy U Myo Myint Oo, Union Minister for Science and Technology Dr Myo Thein Kyaw, and Union Minister for Construction U Myo Thant, representatives from ROSATOM, departmental heads and officials from ministries attended the dinner.
First, Union Minister for Electric Power U Thaung Han and a representative of the Russian State Atomic Energy Corporation “ROSATOM” extended greetings.
Afterwards, the gala dinner was held with a musical performance.
After that, Union Ministers U Thaung Han and Dr Myo Thein Kyaw warmly greeted the delegation from “ROSATOM” and the employees of the ministry. After that, the Union Minister for Electric Power awarded the entertainment group with cash award.
The Russian delegation arrived in Myanmar in early December this year. They travelled Nay Pyi Taw, Yangon, and Inlay regions.
