Union Industry Minister inspects No 1 Textile Factory (Shwedaung)

Union Minister for Industry Dr Charlie Than views round machines at No 1 Textile Factory (Shwedaung) on 11 December.

Union Minister for Industry Dr Charlie Than made an inspection tour of No 1 Textile Factory (Shwedaung) in Bago Region yesterday.
The factory manager reported on operating production of the factory.
In his response, the Union minister instructed officials to seek modern technologies for manufacturing clothes, conduct the multiplier course on techniques, efficiently apply skills of service personnel, to draw the plan for development of human resources, manufacture clothes offered by ministries in time, systematically perform quality control and facilitate fire extinguishers under the firefighting plan.
Yesterday evening, the Union minister inspected installation of machines jointly undertaken by No 3 Heavy Industries Enterprise and Tsuyatomo Co Ltd of Japan for dyeing the products at No 1 Textile Factory (Shwedaung) and instructed officials to observe operating the machines and dyeing of products, manufacture the clothes at cheap prices for the people, timely install the machines and produce the dyed clothes to attract the people.—MNA
