Students from ASEAN member states arrive at Yangon International Airport on 11 December to take part in 10th ASEAN Quiz-Regional level in Nay Pyi Taw.

The students and administrators from ASEAN member states arrived at the Yangon International Airport from yesterday morning to take part in the 10th ASEAN Quiz-Regional Level to be hosted at MICC-II in Nay Pyi Taw Union Territory on 14 December.
ASEAN member countries host the quiz once every two years. This year, Myanmar will host the quiz. Relevant countries selected first, second and third prize winners in the quiz at different levels, and those students are between aged 15 and 18.
Under the arrangement of the Basic Education Department, a total of 33 students between aged 15 and 18 who came from region and state level quizes were assessed under the written test on 30 May 2022 and ten of them were selected through the personal test.
Those ten selected students were allowed to take part in the 10th ASEAN Quiz (National level) at the Myanma Radio and Television on 1 June 2022 and five selected students—first, second and third prize winners and two reserved ones.
Experienced officials gave training to them in international relations and English proficiency from June to November 2022. The firts, second and third prize winners representing Myanmar will participate in the 10th ASEAN Quiz-Regional Level at MICC-II in Nay Pyi Taw on 14 December together with those from other ASEAN member states.
The MICC-II is being facilitated technological devices and network cottection on 11 December. At present, the Quiz360 Software is being conducted on test for contestants in person and those online in hybrid system.—MNA
