Graduation ceremony held for female cadets of Defence Services (Army) OTS (Hmawby)

The commissioning ceremony for the 10th intake of female cadet course in progress yesterday.

The graduation ceremony for the 10th intake of female cadet course of Defence Services (Army) Officer Training School (Hmawby) was held at the Myawady Hall of the school yesterday.
According to the ceremony, senior Tatmadaw officers handed out commissioning certificate to each graduating cadet. Lt-Gen Lin Aung, Military Appointment-General, gave a speech and concluded the ceremony.
The ceremony was to appoint female cadets who graduated from the school with the rank of second lieutenant. The female cadet training course was opened in 2014 with the aim of producing qualified officers for Tatmadaw.
As female graduates who have completed the training, they must serve in the relevant (Army, Navy and Air) corps. — MNA/KZL
