All the jobs must be operated by skilled labour but they must be qualified for relevant professions. In this regard, they have to show off certificates representing their qualification and skills. Such a certificate is a piece of evidence for their skills and qualification.
In seeking jobs, they need to show certificates of recognition on skills and qualifications. If they pass the tests for skills, they can obtain certificates. To have certificates of skills and work experiences, they have to spend their time taking relevant training severally.
Nowadays, some Myanmar people are seeking jobs abroad to earn income for their families with the aim of uplifting their living standards. Salaries and wages they have earned are remitted to their families in Myanmar. Hence, they have to be qualified in relevant professions of their choice as accepted by bosses from respective businesses at home and abroad.
The Ministry of Hotels and Tourism stated that skill standards will be approved for six kinds of jobs related to the hotels and tourism sectors under the ASEAN curriculum guidelines at respective qualification levels.
Myanmar allowed the landing of international flights on 17 April 2022 as infection of Covid-19 has been under control to some degree. Now, 11 international airlines operate the running of flights for 15 trips in Myanmar.
Moreover, the government allowed tourist visas for applicant foreigners to be able to pay visits to Myanmar as of 20 May 2022. Up to 14 July, international tourists from 47 countries including China, India, Thailand, Korea, Japan, Malaysia, Taipei, Viet Nam, Singapore and the US tour various areas and pleasant destinations in Myanmar.
As such, services for those tourists are being given for their convenience in travelling. Hence, the ministry will approve the skill standard for employees in six jobs of the hotels and tourism services — receptionist, housekeeper, baker, waiter, tour consultant and ticket sale manager.
After assessing their skills and qualifications, certificates of recognition for relevant jobs will be issued to them. To do so, the National Tourism Professional Board-NTPB and the Tourism Professional Certification Board-TPCB are holding coordination meetings one after another so as to approve the qualification and skills of candidates.

Hence, young people seeking jobs with deserved salaries and daily wages at home and abroad need to enhance their capacity at all times to be able to firmly show off their skills and qualification with the help of recognition certificates to the bosses of jobs for earning incomes of high salaries.
