Myanmar people pay respect to the attributes of teachers who give the teaching on various subjects or share their experiences with them, identifying the teachers as benefactors forever because education and knowledge given by the teachers can be utilized for the whole their lifetime.
Those teachers nurture all the people in Myanmar society without any expectation for ensuring their wealth. Most of those teachers stand for their lives without giving up anything despite facing difficulties and challenges in their lives. Although they are facing hardship for daily consumption due to their salaries which are not enough for their family, they are keen to provide assistance or give food to pupils.
As a nature of Myanmar society, teachers are satisfactory for wealth, booming business and outstanding of their pupils who have completed learning at schools although their attributes of teaching and nurturing are not acknowledged by students. As such, those teachers are deserved to accept respect paid by not only their students but by the people, as one of the invaluable benefactors to society.
World Teachers’ Day is held annually on 5 October every year to honour as well as pay respect to the attributes of all teachers across Myanmar and throughout the world. The day honours the teachers regarding their rights and responsibilities, and standard for their initial preparation and further education, recruitment, employment, and teaching and learning conditions.
The theme for World Teachers’ Day 2022 is “The transformation of education begins with teachers”. Celebrations will address the commitments and calls for action made at the Transforming Education Summit, in September 2022, and analyze the implications they have for teachers and teaching.
It is a day to celebrate how teachers are transforming education but also to reflect on the support they need to fully deploy their talent and vocation, and to rethink the way ahead for the profession globally.
In Myanmar society, the word of teachers is all-inclusive of the persons who give school education, create a chance for anyone to learn techniques behind them and do something aloud to complete the works which acts are designed to let anyone study some knowledge and techniques without actual advice and teachings. Hence, people recognize them as teachers in teaching, seeing and hearing.

Indeed, teachers are a driving force for the nation in taking nation-building measures without hoping for positions, ranks and income for their lives. They all are passing their lives very simply. As such, all people need to heartily honour and uplift their lives.
