Fuel oil is continuously delivered and distributed to ensure no shortage in petrol stations, and in addition to repeatedly buying in rows there, re-selling and illegal storage and sales are investigated and arrested.
Officials verified that some people did not sell fuel, transported it to other places with the bowser without permission, and sold more than the specified reference price in some townships of Mandalay Region, Sagaing Region and Yangon Region. Therefore, under the law on petroleum and petroleum products, fines were imposed according to the administrative method, the licence was suspended for a limited time, and illegal petrol vendors were temporarily closed.
Illegal Trade Eradication Task Forces, security forces, and inter-departmental teams are conducting investigations to eliminate the illegal storage, transport, distribution, and sale of oil in the regions and states. The public can report to relevant officials if they receive information about illegal fuel storage, transport, distribution, and sales. — MNA/KZL
