IPRD launches capacity-building training 1/2024

The opening ceremony for capacity-building training 1/2024 of the Information and Public Relations Department (IPRD) under the Ministry of Information was held in Nay Pyi Taw yesterday.
Speaking at the event, Union Minister U Maung Maung Ohn said the trainees should focus on creating an environment to read for those facing difficulties in their daily lives due to the weakness and lack of literary concepts and to expand the role of libraries and library culture as per the instructions of the State Head made at the ceremony to donate books and publications to libraries held from 3 to 10 April.
It also needs to accelerate the reading rate, whereas the State Head emphasizes reading, so the youths, education, and library play a crucial.
He continued that capacity-building training courses for staff are being organized so that they can perform the duties of the department successfully and develop individual work capacities in line with the visions of the ministry.
The training will include the subjects that are related to work implementations of the department branches and are required to be learnt by studying hard to be able to contribute to the practical fields.
A total of 30 staff officers from IPRD offices from regions and states, including Nay Pyi Taw, joined the training, which will be conducted until 11 May. — MNA/KTZH
