Vice-Senior General Soe Win comforts Tatmadaw members wounded in serving State defence and security duties, meets departmental officials in Kayin and Mon states

State Administration Council Vice-Chairman Deputy Commander-in-Chief of Defence Services Commander-in-Chief (Army) Vice-Senior General Soe Win encourages the patients at the local military hospital in Mawlamyine, Mon State, yesterday.

Vice-Chairman of the State Administration Council Deputy Commander-in-Chief of Defence Services Commander-in-Chief (Army) Vice-Senior General Soe Win, accompanied by Lt-Gen Nyunt Win Swe of the Office of the Commander-in-Chief (Army), the commander of South-East Command and senior military officers, comforted Tatmadaw members who are wounded in serving the State defence and security duties and they are receiving medical treatments at the local military hospital in Mawlamyine of Mon State yesterday morning.
The Vice-Senior General and party cordially met wounded officers and other ranks in individuals at the local military hospital and asked about medical treatment and progress of health conditions.
After fulfilling the needs of those Tatmadaw members, the Vice-Senior General presented cash awards to the patient Tatmadaw members as well as members of medical services corps serving the hospital.
In the afternoon, the Vice-Senior General met chief ministers of Kayin and Mon States and departmental officials in Mawlamyine.
In his discussions, the Vice-Senior General clarified progress of international relations of Kayin and Mon States having important border trade posts in border regions, efforts for booming border trade sector, tripartite efforts of the government, Tatmadaw and people against current terror attacks, needs to explain public participation in ensuring peace and stability of the region, cooperation with Tatmadaw in raising security awareness against infiltration of terrorists in towns and villages, peaceful learning of students in Kayin and Mon States, healthcare services to residents, efforts for harmonious balance of politics, defence and economic sectors, and successful operation of MSME businesses.
Chief ministers of Mon and Kayin States reported on border peace and stability and security measures, relief supplies and cash assistance for those in temporary displaced person camps, rehabilitation of towns and villages damaged by terrorists, peaceful learning of students in school opening season, disbursement of loans to MSME businesses, and work plans for boosting production of rubber and rice in the regions.
The Vice-Senior General coordinated the measures reported by officials.
The Vice-Senior General also met commander of military stations and officials at the hall of South-East Command Headquarters and instructed them to take military operations, control of the regions and security measures. — MNA/TTA
