Myanmar double and triple Sepak Takraw teams missed the finals after facing losses in the semifinals of the Sepak Takraw World Cup 2024 Championship, named ISTAF World Cup 2024, held in Malaysia on 21 May.
With the losses in the semis, both Myanmar teams secured third place.
In the triple event, Myanmar faced host Malaysia and lost 0-2 (3-15 in the first match and 11-15 in the second match), missing out the final.
In the double event, team Myanmar also played against host Malaysia and lost 0-2 as well (10-15 in the first match and 16-17 in the second match).
